If you’re reading this, you’re seeing the culmination of something I’ve considered doing for years. Welcome!
My name is Maria and ever since I was a wee babe, I have always loved cats. From chasing and then subsequently being scratched by random strays in my neighborhood, I have always loved cats. As I write this to you now, I have a cat on my lap and a cat to my left, because I have always loved cats.
I’ve had at least one cat (usually more than one) for my whole life starting at six years old. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve tackled an array of health and behavioral issues with my cats, including my currently 19 year old cat, Midnight, that has had kidney disease for the last fourth of her life. My girl is still going strong! I also volunteer and foster with a local rescue and have gained a wealth of information through my experiences. While I am most certainly not a veterinarian (see Disclaimer), I have learned a lot and want to share the tips and advice I’ve gained while caring for my cats.
I want to use this blog to share the knowledge I have obtained over the last 30+ years of caring for cats.โI want this blog to help you. I want this blog to help build a community for us to help each other find ways to solve our cat-related problems and struggles.
The future is cat.
